The beauty in this is that not only is it an affordable entry point, you give them a huge benefit by giving them a cycled system and hopefully build repeat business. Well Done !
Could you possibly post some photos / plans on how you construct the towers. Are they PVC Fence posts formed with a heat gun the same way as Chris and Ron do their "pocket" towers?
My barrel systems include the barrel(s) filly plumed, filled with cleaned media, timer unit, pumps, worms, aquaponic water from my big system, and fish. Basically the customer takes it home and plants it.
The first picture is of the single barrel with the high rise option(tower). The single barrel unit sells for $150 and the high rise is an additional $100. The saecond picture shows shows the single barrel with the high rise, the basic single barrel and then the basic double barrel. The high rise can be added to the double barrel system as well.
The barrel systems are selling so well that I cannot get enough barrels to keep up with demand. I am playing with other simple designs constructed with more readily available materials.
I will soon elaborate on this new revenue stream for our farm, and others, in our group Coastview Aquaponics.
