Sweet Water has been helping a veterans group and several schools in Chicago and Milwaukee set up small experimental systems, now with help from a start-up USDA grant, engineers, and Milwaukee School of Engineering. Plan on developing course curricula, credentialing, and distant learning, with a focus on India, the Middle East, and Latin America, then Africa. On site installation in plans, as well, ideally with trained veterans through our aquaponics community!

Comment by Christina V on March 25, 2012 at 6:19am I am a vet who would be very interested in setting something like this up in my community. (I am in Texas.) I also work with at-risk youth, and the local food bank, so the potential is staggering--my mind is swimming with ideas! Thanks for the spark!
