"I learned tonight my nitrite testing solution might be bad. I just exchanged 500 of my 700 gallons due to a hose coming off a pump and it's still testing at 6ppm."

"No. Sadly no one responded to my question. I also searched the web and found nothing. Love bugs seem to be drawn to white objects so I just stood up pieces of unused PVP and pick them off by the dozens and toss them in the tank.  "

Organic/Natural Fish Feed

This group is for Aquaponic Gardeners that are interested in obtaining Organic/Natural fish feed. Please post weather you are interested in Organic or Natural fish feed and how much you are interested in. The feed would probably come in 40lb. bags. Give an amount for how much you think you would consume per month and/or per year. Depending on demand estimates will determine the price (more volume = lower price). Thanks and post soon!See More

I would like to get some of the organic fish feed you are making. We had a huge devastating Ick outbreak so we are starting all over again with the fish, Talapia and Red Belly Pacu. Lesson learned. Luckily the system wasn't planted yet. I am in Hawaii on Oahu. There are quite a few aquaponic systems in the islands so maybe we could pull together to get a large shipment in. Do you know of any other source for organic pellets closer to us?

Any idea what the shipping would be to 96797?

Regaurds,

do you have any more info on the organic food or how much a 20lb bag would cost I am now to this and don't know how much food to feed the fish?

Are these pictures of your system? WOW Beautiful. You have put a lot of time and effort into this system.

I am changing-out my hydroton to aquponics stones. you can see them behind the tomatoes.
