Florida Hydroponics commented on Michelle Silva's blog post rafts for DWC
"Yeah, the white stuff really sucks. Its a pain to cut and leaves them styrofoam little circles all over the place. Also, your holes for your plants over time are easily worn and will become too big. The blue Dow boards work very well. The think…"

Thanks :)

I like the river rock, but as you can see from the greenhouse floor, I still need about 6 more bags.

Yep, I program just about every day of my life, but believe me, I'm not the nerdy type. My hobbies keep me in check.

Me at teaching programming? Well it depends what you already know. If you know basic html, that's a good start and I could be helpful and point you in the right directions. I could be a good teacher, but the key is your own experience in programming. I would be more of a source for where to begin based on your current knowledge and help you with any questions/problems along the way. The more problems you run into during programming, the more you learn.

This is what I develop in: http://www.microsoft.com/express/Downloads/#2010-Visual-Web-Developer
This is the free edition, but it has everything you would ever use. I use the express version (free) at home, but I use the standard version at work. I've had no problems with working on work projects and finishing them at home.. all compatible. They pretty much make this express edition so people can learn and develop their own projects. Anything that makes money (corporate), they want a license. Thats all that comes down too.

But yeah, let me know whats up and Ill point you in the right direction. This skill is something that isnt easily taught, but knowing someone that does it for a living is a valuable resource :)

FYI the gravel you have on the floor of your greenhouse looks like the 1/2" brown river rock that I recommend for Aquaponic media.

Web developer eh? How are you at teaching?
