Thanks John, I appreciate the offer for the pair of Tilapia.  Let me know how I can pick them up- do you have a company here in Jax?  I need to get the tank completely ready. There is nothing but water in it right now so I need to get it ready for them to adjust. Any suggestions on  how to do that would be greatly appreciated. I am just starting up and just ordered the book online. Can't wait for it to arrive!

Also, as far as seed companies, I like Johnny's seeds (they have a catalog you can send for) and also Botanical Interests.  They have a website www.botanicalinterests.com but you can often find at some of the local nurseries like Trad's here in Jax.

Also, do you know of a local source here in Jax for food grade fish tanks, like 200-400 gallons?  I have no idea where to buy them here locally and don't want to have to order and pay the really high shipping prices if I can help it.

Thanks,

Jen

John...I'm waiting on my coffeee to brew....Lol, I just saw this...I already accepted your friends invite.

Sorry, I already sold the 150 tank to Sahib Punjabi.

I do have a 100 gal one. But it has a crack near the drain and there are 2 holes drilled near the top....I think the holes are around 1 1/2 inch, maybe 2 inch. I goit it that way...a guy was using it in aquaponics

I've been 'meaning to' re-repair the crack with some 2 part plumbers epoxy. The guy had tried to use car bondo. I think he said it leaked slow. I know it held rain water for awhile, till I turned it over. t's just been sitting...I've never used it.

I also have a cattle feed trough that looks like this...

http://www.tractorsupply.com/livestock/livestock-equipment/livestock-feeders/galvinized-bunk-feeder-10-ft-l-2172497

Mine is a differant brand, with a solid bottom. It had a 2 " hole near one end when I got it. Then I put another at the other end

Welcome John,

This really is a great hobby. You will enjoy it as well as get to eat food that has been grown naturally.

God bless,
