Hello Jon and Cat!  We would love to come by to visit!  When you say just down the road, where might that be?  Our problem with getting anywhere to see a system working has been time and travel.  If you are close, that would be a huge blessing!!!!

I read below that someone got some bamboo from you.  Do you have bamboo for sale also?  We have been buying the sticks from home depot to stake up our grape vines and they are not adequate so we are looking for something a little more substantial.  We have 100 new grape vines we just put our for the winery and could use a good source of bamboo so please let me know if you have any.

Thank you for the invite.  I can't wait to hear from you.  After this weekend, we should be able to breathe a bit as long as we finish the trellises this weekend.  Beautiful weather to be working in isn't it?  Please feel free to call me or email me direct.  I don't get to read all of the postings from aquaponics due to the abundance and I don't want to risk missing your answer.  My email is Kimberly@AGFflorida.com and my cell phone is 772.828.8110 or 8109,  My phone works randomly at the vineyard and I really would like to speak with you so if you get voice mail, try me back after 5 because out there it could be 3 days or more before your message comes through. Please call.  I am also trying to figure out how to navigate this site trying to find your web page.  Send me a link if you will in case I can't find it on here!  ")  Kimberly

hey jon and cat,
You posted on my aquaponic forum wall that I should come by and tour your garden. I actually have been to your house with Dan when we picked up some bamboo. I would definitely love to see your system again sometime, especially now that I have learned a little more about the siphons. Also, I am going to the conference next weekend, so I will definitely stop and say hi.

Saw your website, looks good! how long have you been in business? Do you guys mfg. those blue fish tanks in your pictures? I'm glad you like the towers-I really get a kick out of them. I've got a batch of basil in now- i'm experimenting with light penetration. It's great to hear from you, i'll look forward to getting to know you guys better as time goes on!

good morning. Thanks for sharing your experience around your launch. Sounds like you are disappointed at the rate of sales, but that will change once you can take orders on your website. I am reading an excellent book right now called "Rework" (http://www.amazon.com/Rework-Jason-Fried/dp/0307463745/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1271166251&sr=8-1) where he was just talking about trying to embrace those first few slow months after a business gets started to finish up projects you need to get to. Easy to say...hard to do.

You system and website look great - truly the best I've seen of either in the U.S. so far. Looks like you are using a Murray Hallam style system philosophy. I'm curious - why are you using Higromite instead of Hydroton? To stay U.S. based?

My only advice at this point is to remove the "Excuse our mess" message from your home page. You are far enough along not to need that, and it might be giving pause to potential customers about how ready you are to help them.

Let's be sure to stay in touch. I'd like your thoughts on my website which is (hopefully) going up in about 3-4 weeks.

Hi

Thanks for joining the Aquaponic Gardening community! I hope you find it a fun place to explore aquaponics. There is a real blend of experienced and new aquapons in this community, so please don’t hesitate to join in. Always thrilled to have experienced growers join us – please post some photos of your system!

We have just one rule - keep it cordial (no flaming!).

I'd like to talk with you outside the forum next week about your fiberglass aquaponic components. Please send me a direct message as to what time might work for you and a phone number.

Thanks again for joining us, and I look forward to getting to know you.

Sylvia
